Harvey Nichols has resumed online trading under new owner Frasers Group, following atemporary shutdown of its websitein August, after the luxury department store was acquired out of administration. Theretailer’s websiteis now live again, with the footer identifying Frasers Group Trading Limited as the operator of the Harvey Nichols business. The return to trading follows a period in which Harvey Nichols’ website was taken offline while Frasers completed the transition. A holding page told customers the retailer was “currently unavailable online” while it underwent a period of transition, although its physical stores remained open. The deal included the retailer’s UK stores, online business, existing inventory and international franchise agreements, with more than 1,000 employees transferring to the new ownership.
