That tension surfaced in a Reddit post from a Pecron E3600 owner who said the unit died and then began smoking after a breaker reset. "Came home today and noticed the E3600 in the garage was off, no lights on the screen, wouldn't respond," the user wrote. " In the comments, the setup was described as the station being plugged into the wall with a fridge attached, where it had been working fine in UPS mode before the failure.
