E-commerce Vinnies NSW is partnering with Ebay Live to host real-time digital auctions, as part of a broader strategy to modernise its retail operations and engage younger collectors. The 104-year-old charitable organisation will launch its first interactive livestream event tomorrow, September 30. The initial stream will focus on high-value sports memorabilia, featuring items such as a signed late-1990s Sydney Roosters jersey with starting bids set at $1. All proceeds generated from the auctions will fund Vinnies’ community support programs across NSW. The adoption of live shopping follows the launch of the organisation’s dedicated e-commerce platform, Vinnies Finds, in May last year.
